Walt Disney, Exxon Mobil and Hewlett Packard Declines Despite Positive Dow Jones

US stock markets gained on Wednesday as the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.12 percent or 16.42 points to close at 13,194.10 points. Standard & Poor’s 500 index declined 0.12 percent or 1.67 points to 1,394.28 while NASDAQ Composite index slightly gained by 0.03 percent or 0.85 to settle at 3,040.73 for the day.

The Walt Disney Company (NYSE:DIS) declined 1.20 percent to close at $43.48 in yesterday’s session. The traded volume stood at 10.99 million shares as compared to its average traded volume figure of 9.74 million shares per day. The share price is trading at a price to earnings of 16.47 times while its dividend yield stands at 1.38 percent.

Exxon Mobil Corporation (NYSE:XOM) fell 0.97 percent to close at $86.02 in yesterday’s session. The traded volume stood at 16.18 million shares as compared to its average traded volume figure of 15.93 million shares per day. The share price is trading at a price to earnings of 10.22 times while its dividend yield stands at 2.19 percent.

Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE:HPQ) slipped 0.94 percent to close at $24.34. The traded volume stood at 21.66 million shares as compared to its average traded volume of 17.51 million shares per day. The share price is trading at a price to earnings of 8.60 times while its dividend yield stands at 1.97 percent.
