Top Bears at DJIA: Hewlett Packard, Intel and Microsoft

Investors remained mixed on Wednesday as the Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 0.05 percent or 6.66 points to settle at 12,496.15 for the day. Standard & Poor’s 500 index gained 0.17 percent or 2.23 points to close at 1,318.86 while NASDAQ Composite advanced 0.39 percent or 11.04 points to settle at 2,850.12 for the day. The top decliners at Dow Jones are as follows:

Hewlett Packard (HPQ) fell 3.21 percent to close at $21.08 in yesterday’s session. The traded volume stood at 53.60 million shares as compared to its average volume figure of 20.31 million shares per day. The share price moved to its price to earnings of 7.45 times.

Intel Corp (INTC) declined 2.27 percent to close at $25.44 with traded volume of 62 million shares. On average the stock trades with volume figure of 371.5 million shares per day. The share price is also trading at its oversold level as per its relative strength index of 27.25.

Microsoft Corporation (MSFT) dropped 2.18 percent to close at $29.11 for the day. The volume stood at 65.29 million shares as compared to its average traded volume figure of 45.58 million shares per day. The share price is trading at a price to earnings of 10.59 times while its dividend yield stands at 2.75 percent.
