Losers at DJIA for the day: Alcoa, Caterpillar and Intel

Bears dominated US stock markets on Wednesday as the Dow Jones index fell by 0.65% or 83.17 points to 12,653.12.  S&P dropped by 0.81% or 10.99 Points to 1,341.47 while Nasdaq dropped 1% or 29.44 points to 2,902.33.  The major falls of the day are as follows:

Alcoa, Inc. (AA) declined 4.11% to close at $8.40. Total of 57.15M shares were traded while on average the share price trades with volume figure of 20.91M shares per day.  The company’s total outstanding common stock accumulates up to 1.07B billion out of which 1.07B billion shares are floated in the stock market. Alcoa, Inc. (AA) maintains the beta of 2.04 which depicts that the share price is likely to change by 2.04 times against 1 point change in market index.
