Home Depot, McDonald’s and Wal-Mart End Up Despite Lower DJIA

The Home Depot, Inc. (HD) gained 0.89% to close at $52.11 yesterday. The traded volume stood at 8.44M shares as compared to its average traded volume of 13.11M shares per day. By the end of the session the stock’s price to earnings ratio stood at 19.68 times. Its dividend yield stands at 2.23 percent.

McDonald’s Corp. (MCD) advanced 0.81% to close at $89.30. The traded volume stood at 5.49M shares as compared to its average traded volume of 6.64M shares per day. By the end of the session the stock’s price to earnings ratio stood at 16.68 times. Its dividend yield stands at 3.14 percent.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT) jumped 0.47% to close at $71.08 in yesterday’s session. The company’s total outstanding common stock accumulates up to 3.38B billion out of which 1.67B billion shares are floated in the stock market. Insiders hold 0.17% of the total outstanding common stock while 31.10% of outstanding shares are held by different institutions.
