Dow Jones Yesterday’s Top Performers: Coca Cola, General Electric and Verizon

The share price moved 2.21 percent above its 50-days simple moving average while its relative strength index of 54.16 times shows that the share price has considerable margin for capital gains.

General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) soared 1.51 percent to close at $17.47 with traded volume of 85.71 million shares. Its average traded volume stands at 50.75 million shares per day. The share price was still 6.11 percent below its 50-days simple moving average and has considerable margin for upward movement as per its relative strength index of 35.96.

Verizon Communications Inc (NYSE:VZ) gained 1.35 percent in yesterday’s trading session to close at $35.87. Traded volume stood at 19.39 million shares as compared to its average volume figure of 14.13 million shares per day. The share price was still 0.34 percent down its 50-days simple moving average. The relative strength index of 47.25 depicts that the share price has enough margin for further upward movement.
