Dow Jones Performers: Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase and General Electric

US stock markets end in positive zone on Thursday as the Dow Jones Industrial Average surged 0.44 percent or 58.66 points to close at 13,252.76 for the day. Standard & Poor’s 500 index gained 0.60 percent or 8.32 to 1,402.60 while NASDAQ Composite index advanced 0.51 percent or 15.64 to settle at 3,056.27 for the day.

Bank of America Corp (NYSE:BAC) was the top gainer among Dow Jones components and soared 4.52 percent to close at $9.24 with traded volume of 488.39 million shares. The share price moved 23.10 percent above its 50-days simple average and is trading at its extreme overbought level as per its relative strength index of 75.36.

JPMorgan Chase & Co (NYSE:JPM) surged 2.57 percent to close at $44.70 in yesterday’s session. The traded volume stood at 57.17 million shares as compared to its average traded volume of 33.68 million shares per day. The share price is also trading at its extreme overbought level as per its relative strength index of 79.60 while moved 17.45 percent above its 50-days simple moving average.

General Electric Company (NYSE:GE) gained 1.87 percent to close at $20.16 in yesterday’s session. The traded volume stood at 76.30 million shares as compared to its average traded volume of 50.50 million shares per day. Currently the stock price is trading at a price to earnings of 16.39 times while its dividend yield stands at 3.37 percent.
