Dow Jones Gains 194.13 Points with Walt Disney, Kraft and IBM Jumping More Than 2%

US equities rallied on Tuesday as the Dow Jones Industrial Average jumped 1.50 percent or 194.13 points to 13,115.54. Standard & Poor’s 500 index surged to 1,390.78 while NASDAQ Composite index gained to 3,042.82 for the day. The top performers of the day are as under:

Walt Disney Co. (DIS) surged 2.45% in its last trading session to close at $42.68. Total of 6.55M shares were traded while on average the share price trades with volume figure of 8.27M shares per day. By the end of the session the stock’s price to earnings ratio stood at 16.14 times. Its dividend yield stands at 1.41 percent.

Kraft Foods Inc. (KFT) surged 2.39% in its last trading session to close at $38.48. Total of 11.34M shares were traded while on average the share price trades with volume figure of 8.42M shares per day. The company has floated 1.68B billion shares in the stock market out of its total outstanding common stock of 1.77B billion shares. In company’s outstanding commons stock structure, insiders hold 0.06% of outstanding shares while institutions have the ownership of 0.06% of company’s common stock.

International Business Machines Corporation (IBM) surged 2.33% in its last trading session to close at $207.45.
