Dow Jones Bears in Focus: Bank of America, JPMorgan and Hewlett Packard

US stock markets ended the week on a positive note as the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.50 percent or 65.16 points to close at 13,029.26. Standard & Poor’s 500 index gained 0.12 percent or 1.61 points to close at 1,378.53 while NASDAQ Composite slightly fell by 0.24 percent or 7.11 points to settle at 3,000.45 for the day. The stocks in red at Dow Jones are as under:

Bank of America Corporation (BAC) declined 4.68% to close at $8.36. If we analyze the price history of the last 52 weeks the share price touched it’s lowest of $4.92 while its highest was $12.71. Total of 277.59M shares were traded while on average the share price trades with volume figure of 291.38M shares per day.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM) fell 1.16% to close at $42.72. Total of 26.18M shares were traded while on average the share price trades with volume figure of 36.28M shares per day. The share price is positively correlated with market index and is expected to react by 1.26 times against 1 point change in market index.

Hewlett-Packard Company (HPQ) slipped 0.81% in its last trading session to close at $24.51. Total of 19.65M shares were traded while on average the share price trades with volume figure of 20.88M shares per day.
