Standard & Poor’s 500 index advanced 0.40 percent or 5.58 points to close at 1,409.75 while NASDAQ Composite settled at 3,078.32 for the day. These stocks fell despite positive closing of Dow Jones.

United Technologies Corporation (UTX) fell 1.01 percent to close at $84.62 in yesterday’s session. The traded volume stood at 4.61 million shares while its average volume figure stands at 4.61 million shares per day.
