Standard & Poor’s 500 index advanced 0.67 percent or 9.29 points to 1,399.98 while NASDAQ Composite index gained 0.69 percent or 20.98 points to settle at 3,050.61 points. The top bulls of the day are as follows:

Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT) surged 2.77% to close at $58.95. The traded volume stood at 25.09M shares as compared to its average traded volume of 10.20M shares per day. By the end of the session the stock’s price to earnings ratio stood at 12.98 times. Its dividend yield stands at 2.70 percent.

Chevron Corporation (CVX) surged 2.28% in yesterday’s session to close at $106.22. The traded volume stood at 8.53M shares as compared to its average traded volume of 6.42M shares per day. By the end of the session the stock’s price to earnings ratio stood at 7.91 times. Its dividend yield stands at 3.05 percent.

AT&T, Inc. (T) surged 2.21% to close at $32.44. The traded volume stood at 34.74M shares as compared to its average traded volume of 29.45M shares per day. By the end of the session the stock’s price to earnings ratio stood at 46.98 times. Its dividend yield stands at 5.43 percent. Institutions hold the proportion of 57% in the total outstanding shares standing at 5.88B.
