US stock markets recovered on Tuesday as the Dow Jones Industrial Average index surged 162.57 points or 1.31 percent to 12,573.80 for the day. Among other indexes, Standard & Poor’s 500 index gained 1.17 percent or 15.25 points to 1,324.18 while NASDAQ Composite advanced 1.19 percent or 33.34 points to settle at 2,843.07 for the day. The top performers among DJIA components are as follows:
Boeing (BA) soared 3.52 percent to close at $72.58 in yesterday’s session. The traded volume stood at 6.45 million shares as compared to its average traded volume of 4.19 million shares per day. The share price moved to its price to earnings of 12.62 times while its dividend yield stands at 2.42 percent. The stock’s relative strength index 58.46 which depicts that it has margin for upward movement.
JPMorgan Chase & Co (JPM) surged 2.89 percent to close at 33.77 in yesterday’s session. The traded volume stood at 43.31 million shares while on average the stock price trades with volume figure of 44.72 million shares per day. The share price moved 7.50 times of earnings per share in yesterday’s session while its dividend yield stands at 3.55 percent. The share price has considerable margin for capital gains as per its relative strength index of 43 times.
Bank of America Corporation (BAC) gained 2.88 percent to close at $7.49. The traded volume stood at 148 million shares as compared to its average traded volume figure of 242.08 million shares per day. BAC’s relative strength index stands at 50.27 times which shows that the stock price trading in between its oversold and overbought levels.
