G-III Apparel Group: First Quarter Earnings

The accessory and outerwear company, G-III Apparel Group disclosed its first quarter earnings with net sales amounting to $229.4 million. The company achieved record net sales during a quarter. In spite of record sales, the company suffered a net loss of $0.04 per share.

The company owns and licenses products which are marketed in categories of accessories, sports, ready to wear, and outerwear. The company has got a growing base in sportswear, handbags, and luggage. The company’s owned products include:

Together with its wholesale businesses, the company also works like a retailer with its Andrew Marc and Wilsons Leather Outlet brands. The stores sell accessories and outerwear products.
